I am Yash Chhatrala. I Capture, share, store memories and not data. This motto of mine has made me a photographer today. I can instantly connect with individuals, their expressions and emotions; see through the beauty and radiance of a place or a product than working with just data and the values stored in them. This has been the story of my life.
I’m an Indian photographer based in The Great Jungle of GIR; Lap of Mount Girnar, in a little town called Talala. I currently live in Ahmedabad, IN. Hopefully, these pictures will inspire someone to be more present, to spend more time doing what they love, to feel what makes them tick, to embrace life to the very core. I have had my interest in art since I was a child and the knowledge acquired as a passionate photographer, developed into a passion to live and love photography as a profession. The love for photography stems from the incredible feeling of capturing unforgettable moments. I take pride in connecting with people in a genuine caring way, allowing them to feel comfortable and at ease in front of the camera. Always smiling and hoping I can bring a smile to the faces of everyone I meet. I also love snapping quickly and unusual things encountered in daily life. Portraits are a particular favorite. It’s a joy seeing individual history reflected through people’s eyes and mapped on their faces.
Helping others that are less fortunate has always been my greatest passion and I would love to use my camera and experiences to make a positive difference in society. Sometimes an image captures a moment in a way words fail to achieve. I aim to engage the reader through my photos; to focus on intriguing subjects and timely events or rock concerts that impact our lives (yes it happens!). I believe that a documentary or a concert’s photograph helps train the spotlight on reality. My working weeks, (well, often weekends too) are built around a wonderful variety of photography giving me the opportunity to meet and photograph people and capture locations and events for both private and commercial clients. I’m able to travel to your location and shoot your project at a place that best represents your company/personal image, with results of big studio production. I’ve shot many weddings, and I enjoy being a wedding photographer more with each new season. It’s a huge honor and privilege to photograph passionate celebrations between families and friends. My clients let me into their personal space and trust me to document with honesty and grace their deepest emotions: their love, their tears, their laughs, and their fears. For this, I am grateful beyond words. I provide quality timeless proofs, with storybook albums and customized packages to fit your budget. A strong rapport with my customers and an unobtrusive manner is my primary goal.
As a photographer, I am dedicated, flexible, and a proactive thinker willing to take on any assignment. Living in an extremely visual culture where the media plays a critical role in our daily lives, it’s imperative that photographers communicate effectively. I love the power of photography and I want to demonstrate that power for you by encapsulating time and preserving your memory through my photos so that you can cherish it.
